Having seen Hazard of Hearts I was keen to watch this one from the same director, but felt it was not as well-written or played. The characters were rather drab and not very well cast (with some exceptions). Marcus did a good job as another aristocratic gentleman - a role he plays with ease, but his co-stars were somewhat lacklustre, especially when comtrasted with those in Hazard.
