Freebird release date now announced as 1 February 2008
From the Freedom Picture Company, "Freebird to be released in cinemas across the UK on Feb the 1st 2008. It's been just under twelve months since the last bit of footage was shot on Freebird and just under five since it was completed, but Freedom Picture Company have secured distribution for this new British motorcycle movie. The cinemas selected will give a broad spread of the UK which will give everyone a chance to see the film on the big screen. We are hoping the cinemas will be able to offer special deals for group bookings."
Freebird to preview at "Storming the Castle", Co Durham.
Freedom Picture Company have announced that there will be special previews of Freebird at 'Stormin the Castle', Witton Castle, County Durham between 31 August and 2 September. They are screening Freebird at this most special of get togethers, said the organisers of the 'Stormin the Castle' bike rally. It's a first come first served basis to see the film. Hot from the Freedom Picture Company is the news that the eagerly awaited British biker movie, FREEBIRD, will be previewed during the Isle of Man TT Races starting tomorrow!
"FREEBIRD NEWS: Friday May 25 - Thursday 7 June 07 To celebrate 100 years of the Isle of Man TT Races we will be previewing FREEBIRD at the Palace Cinema, Douglas, IOM. Screenings at Midday and 8pm daily. Call the Box Office on 01624 627777. Further details of previews on the mainland and forthcoming premiere to be announced."
The producers of Freebird have announced that the film's release date has been put back to May this year. Marcus plays the part of Marl in the film. More info as we have it.
