Marcus in new play
TheatreMarcus has just told me that he will be starring in a play called "Starry starry night" at The Mill in Sonning, near Reading, Berkshire between the 9 May and the 17 June, 2006. Marcus plays the hunky heartthrob Jordan Power.

When a Hollywood film company chooses a small village in the Highlands of Scotland as its location, the star - hunky heartthrob Jordan Power, books into the local hotel and sets out to seduce the female population. And the wee young lassies are not exactly averse to his charms. There's pretty, giggling Lily, a chambermaid; there's his glamorous but sometimes sozzled co-star, Constance; as well as his pleasure-loving girlfriend, Nina. But Jordan only has eyes for another chambermaid, the beautiful and enigmatic Alice. However, Alice isn't a fan and refuses to be just another notch on his belt. Only after a series of hilarious incidents do we learn if the cliché 'True love conquers all' applies to Jordan and Alice.

The Mill is delighted to present the World Premiere of this laugh-filled comedy by famous husband and wife writing team Jan Etherington and Gavin Petrie, authors of many successful television series including NEXT OF KIN, starring Penelope Keith and William Gaunt; FAITH IN THE FUTURE (best ITV Comedy of the Year) and DUCK PATROL starring Richard Wilson. Bookings for the play may be made by telephone to the Box Office by phone on Reading (0118) 969 8000 - the Box Office is open from 10am to 8pm Mon - Sat, Sundays 11am to 4pm.
